Abstract:

A method and system for authentication an electronic device is provided. One implementation involves obtaining a set of authentication parameters; prioritizing the authentication parameters into: express-parameters defining one or more express check points, and post-parameters defining one or more post-check points; authenticating each express check point; upon successful authentication of each express check point, commencing authentication of the post-check points; wherein the electronic device is authenticated when all the express check points and post-check points are successfully authenticated.

A method and system for tuning to a scrambled television channel is provided. One implementation involves receiving a channel selection from a user, tuning to the selected scrambled channel, checking a cache for Conditional Access (CA) descrambling information associated with the selected channel, and in case of a cache hit, then retrieving the descrambling information associated with the selected channel from the cache for descrambling the scrambled channel.

Abstract:

A wire-form mannequin formed by a wire and wire sections bent into a shape of a human torso for hanging, displaying and storing clothes in a presentable manner. The wire-form mannequin comprises a wire bent to provide a plurality of portions including a neck plateau portion, first shoulder support portion, second shoulder support portion, first lateral support portion, second lateral support portion, first hip portion, second hip portion, and a torso end loop portion or a pair of hip wire ends with a wire end cap on each hip wire end, a chest support wire that is either a singular-curve chest support wire or a feminine chest support wire, an abdominal support wire, a holder connecting wire with a cylindrical stand holder, a tripod, a head hanger hook that may be attached to the neck plateau portion, and a pair of lateral hooks that may replace the neck plateau portion. The present invention of a wire-form mannequin is designed to be used with a tripod for standing on a floor and also equipped with a hook or a pair of hooks for hanging.
