A computer screen for a personal computer according to the present invention includes a main screen, one or more retractable sub-displays, and one or more retractable arms. The main screen has a main display and a docking space disposed behind the main display. The retractable sub-displays are adapted to be pushed in into and pulled out from the docking space of the main screen. Abstract:

A method is provided for making a banana product comprising providing at least one unpeeled banana comprising banana peel and banana pulp, subjecting the at least one unpeeled banana to a heat treatment at a temperature and for a time sufficient to gelatinize starch present in the at least one unpeeled banana to form at least one heat treated unpeeled banana, and comminuting the at least one heat treated unpeeled banana to form a banana puree. A functional food ingredient is also provided comprising a banana puree including banana pulp and optionally banana peel. According to certain aspects the banana puree is dried and thereby provided in the form of a dried banana powder or flake. The functional food ingredient optionally performs as one or more of various ingredient types, for instance as a gluten substitute, a dip or whip base, a binder, an emulsifying agent, and the like.

Abstract:

A system and method for secure web browsing, through a combination of remote execution and local rendering of web pages. The process begins when a local computational device, controlled by a user, requests a web page for display. In the art known process, the request of the local computational device would be sent directly to a web host server, which would then provide all of the components of the web page. These components would then be sent to the local computational device, for rendering and also for execution locally. In the inventive process, the request of the local computational device is sent to a server gateway, which then sends the request to the web host server. The components of the web page are received by the server gateway. The server gateway then executes any scripts as needed, during the session that the user interacts with the web page through local computational device. The server gateway sends components of the received web page, optionally after any scripts have executed to provide additional data, to the local computational device. This process prevents any scripts or other executables from executing on the local computational device. The local computational device then renders the received components to create the web page for display on a web browser at the local computational device.

Abstract:

A method for managing power during communication with an implantable medical device, including establishing a communications link, utilizing a power corresponding to a session start power, to initiate a current session between an implantable medical device (IMD) and external device. A telemetry break condition of the communications link is monitored during the current session. The power utilized by the IMD is adjusted between low and high power levels, during the current session based on the telemetry break condition. The number of sessions is counted, including the current session and one or more prior sessions, in which the IMD utilized the higher power level, and a level for the session start power to be utilized to initiate a next session following the current session is adaptively learned based on the counting of the number of sessions.
