Abstract:
A system for tomographic imaging includes a source of at least partially coherent radiation, a frequency-swept laser source and an interferometer. The radiation in the interferometer is phase modulated at a modulation frequency for elimination of DC and autocorrelation noises as well as the mirror image. The interference fringes of the radiation backscattered from the sample into the interferometer are detected to obtain a spectral signal. The spectral signal of the detected backscattered interference fringes is transformed to obtain a location dependent signal at each pixel location in a data window. A tomographic image of the fluid flow in the data window is generated for display and of the structure of the scanned fluid flow sample in the data window from the location dependent signal is generated.

Abstract:
An endoscopic swept-source Fourier Domain optical coherence tomographic system (FDOCT system) for imaging of tissue structure includes a Fourier Domain mode locked (FDML), high speed, narrow line-width, wavelength swept source, an OCT interferometer having a sample arm, a reference arm, a detection arm, and a source arm coupled to the swept source, an endoscopic probe coupled to the sample arm, and a data processing circuit coupled to the detection arm. The swept source includes a long optic fiber functioning as a cavity, a high optical gain lasing module, and a tunable narrow bandwidth bandpass filter for wavelength selection combined to form a unidirectional ring laser cavity, where the tunable narrow bandwidth bandpass filter is driven synchronously with the optical round-trip time of a propagating light wave in the cavity.

Provided herein is a high performance reactive pressure sensitive adhesive (HPR-PSA) formulation which can be compounded and coated on facestock at ambient temperatures. Upon curing by exposing to a high temperature, the HPR-PSA becomes a structural adhesive with superior mechanical performance. This HPR-PSA formulation comprises the unique mixture of the SIS and SB rubber, hydrocarbon and rosin resins tackifiers, and a phenolic derivative curing agent.
ESD labels with a polyester-isocyanate topcoat are provided. The topcoat and adhesive layer may comprise conductive particles, and the percentage of conductive particles in the adhesive layer may be reduced as compared to labels without conductive particles in the topcoat. The ESD labels have reduced surface resistance in the topcoat and adhesive layer, while also having reduced peel-off voltage.
