  • Abstract:
Disclosed is a disposable dish system, with the bottom surfaces of the disposable dishes being at least partially coated with a light tack non-toxic adhesive to retain it to a tablecloth, tray, or table in a manner which will be resistant to wind or tipping, but yet allow for easy removal and replacement during use. Also disclosed is a wind-resistant disposable tablecloth which includes adhesive disposed at certain locations on the tablecloth for use in retaining the tablecloth on a picnic table or a similar table or surface. The tablecloth has the adhesive placed thereon in strips, which are covered by strips of release liner prior to the tablecloth being used. The release liner strips are removed to expose the adhesive on the tablecloth, which is used to secure the tablecloth on the picnic table.
  • Thermal Battery Emergency System

  • US Patent:
    20010013766, Aug 16, 2001
  • Filed:
    Mar 3, 2001
  • Appl. No.:
    09/798223
  • Inventors:
Mark Kroll - Simi Valley CA, US
Karl Kroll - Maple Grove MN, US
  • International Classification:
    H02J007/00
  • US Classification:
    320/104000
  • Abstract:
A pyrotechnic self-consuming battery for emergency booster battery applications. Such a system can only be used once as the battery self-destructs but could be very useful for emergency starting of cars, trucks or airplanes. This invention allows for a system weighing approximately {fraction (1/50)}th that of existing systems with comparable significant reductions in volume. An essentially infinite shelf life also obtains with the invention. Systems are taught for emergency lighting and backup power generation.

  • US Classification:
    073730000
  • Abstract:
A memory tire pressure gauge apparatus for use with race cars, comprising a pressure transducer, a control system and a display. The pressure transducer is for communicative connection to a tire of a race car. The control system is communicatively connected to the pressure transducer, receives tire pressure reading signals from the pressure transducer, and converts them to tire pressure display signals The control system has memory for storing a plurality of tire pressure reading signals. The display is communicatively connected to the control system, It indicates at least eight tire pressure readings simultaneously, the eight tire pressure readings corresponding to a relatively cold tire pressure reading with respect to an initial time and a relatively hot tire pressure reading with respect to a later time, after use of the tires, for each of four tires. The display further shows, simultaneously, four tire pressure change readings corresponding to changes caused by the use of each of the tires. The display receives tire pressure display signals from the control system. A method of gauging inflation pressure of a tire or other article is also disclosed.
