Abstract:

Systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed for managing assignment of obligations. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving, at a compliance assurance system, an indication of a termination of employment of an individual and determining, with the compliance assurance system, the individual was assigned an obligation. A new responsible individual for the obligation is determined and the obligation is automatically assigned to the new responsible individual.

Abstract:

Systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums are disclosed for managing compliance of legal obligations using complexity factors. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving legal obligation information for a plurality of legal obligations and receiving a complexity factor for each of at least a subset of the legal obligations. The legal obligation information and the complexity factors are stored. A report categorizing at least a second subset of the legal obligations by the respective complexity factors is created and the report is displayed.

Abstract:

A regulatory compliance advisory request system includes a user interface configured to receive a request relating to a compliance matter and a computing device, communicatively coupled with the user interface and a data store. The computing device is configured to operate on the request to thereby create a record in the data store relating to the request, publish at least a portion of the request to one or more user computers, receive information relating to the request from at least one user via a user computer, thereby incorporating the information into the record, receive a response to the request from an allowed user, and publish the response to one or more stakeholders via a computing devices associated with each stakeholder. The system also includes a data store including a library of records relating to previous requests.

Abstract:

In one embodiment, a compliance assurance system is disclosed which comprises a user interface, logic, and a data store. The user interface is configured to receive a request from a user to display at least a subset of legal obligations assigned to the user and to display the subset of legal obligations. The logic is configured to obtain the subset of legal obligations from the data store. The data store includes a plurality of legal obligations and a plurality of compliance plans, each associated with one of the legal obligations. The compliance plans specify at least one action to comply with the associated legal obligation.
