Abstract:

An apparatus and method for implementing one or more existing object-oriented program classes as component objects in an object management system, each class including one or more member functions, each class being defined in a header file, builds an information list, the information list including a list of the classes and the member functions in each class, processes the information list, the processing including parsing the header file for each class and reading a type file, the type file including computer code for converting between an object-oriented type and an object management type, and generates from the processed information list one or more output files for each component object, each component object implementing the member functions of one class.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus for controlling a peripheral device is provided. In a server, in a client/server environment, a server application receives a request for execution of a peripheral device script from a client application. The server application retrieves a peripheral device script which is associated with the request and the peripheral device script is passed to a script interpreter. The script interpreter converts the peripheral device script into at least one control signal. A device control module is coupled to the script interpreter and sends the control signal to the peripheral device. The device control module receives information signals from the peripheral device and forwards the information signals to the client application. The script may include code for configuring the peripheral device, code for requesting information about the peripheral device or code for controlling the peripheral device.

Abstract:

The present disclosure provides a system and method for comprehensive data synchronization management between a sponsor-company's central electronic-laboratory-notebook system and either multiple contract-research-organizations or research sites. The system features a data loader server that can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud and allows scheduling of synchronization jobs of electronic-laboratory-notebook. The data loader software communicates to the contract research organization and the sponsor company's electronic laboratory notebook and executes scheduled or on-demand jobs. The data loader software may synchronized subsequent update of the data and may automatically delete the data from the contract research organization's site once a given transfer is complete. In some implementations, the method and system is configured for automation, scalability, and high-performance operations that focused on efficiency, security, configurability, and privacy/intellectual property protection.
