Abstract:

A hosiery donning aid apparatus comprises a body formed as a channel having interior and exterior surfaces and two outer edges extending along a longitudinal axis of the body. A frictional arrangement is provided consisting of a multiplicity of spaced from each other frictional ribs extending outwardly from the exterior surface in such a manner that a substantial gap separates each end of each frictional rib from the respective outer edges.

Abstract:

A utensil for a manually impaired user includes a utensil insert, such as a fork, spoon, knife, tool or other object, and a handle for receiving the utensil insert so that a portion of the utensil insert extends outwardly from the handle. The handle has first and second handle sections that are removably connected together. The first handle section includes a first receptacle and a first projection spaced from the first receptacle while the second handle section includes a second receptacle and a second projection spaced from the second receptacle. The first receptacle is adapted to receive the second projection and the second receptacle is adapted to receive the first projection when the first and second handle sections are connected together.

A splash guard assembly for removable attachment to a split-ring toilet seat elevator or split-ring toilet seat includes a base splash guard adapted to fit within the gap of the seat or elevator and a raised splash guard adapted to slip over the base splash guard to extend the working height of the splash guard assembly. The splash guards can be used together or separately and independently to accommodate a wide variety of toilet bowls as well as split-ring and solid-ring toilet seats and seat elevators.
