Abstract:

The invention relates to a reduced fat foamy coating or topping composition for ice confections or hot or cold beverages. This composition includes a sweetener, a whipping agent, no more than about 10% fat, an emulsifier, a starch and milk or milk derivative, buffering agents, natural or artificial flavorings, and water if necessary. The invention also relates to an ice confection that includes the coating or topping of the invention thereon and the method of making thereof. The invention also relates to a hot or cold beverage having a foamy topping thereon. The invention also relates to a confectionary item having a foamy topping thereon and/or a filling therein. The invention also relates to a culinary product such as soup, sauce or dip that includes these compositions.

Abstract:

A prepackaged closure for temporarily closing and sealing the nozzle of a dispenser cartridge includes a mass of tacky, finger-moldable sealant impermeable to volatile compounds that facilitate the fluency of the material contained in the cartridge. The mass, preferably butyl rubber, is contained in a protective package formed from separable components, the mass and container being proportioned to facilitate removal of the mass from the container. Upon removal from the container, the mass is applied and finger-molded to and about the tip of the nozzle to effect the seal.

Abstract:

A method and means effectively evacuates smoke plumes, vapors, aerosol release, mists, tissue and small particles produced from an operative nasal cavity and any other gas- or air-borne materials provided in or produced in the surgical environment. To this end, an evacuator tube is placed in the contralateral (suction) nasal cavity surrounded by a sealing member which blocks the space between the evacuator tube and nares and/or nasal vestibule.
