I also enjoy working in a dynamic community with a robust economy and an exceptionally well educated and diverse population. I currently reside in Greene County, Virginia, but I have spent my entire life in central Virginia and in the Valley. I graduated from James Madison University and taught school in Albemarle and Greene counties for fifteen years. My knowledge of this area is extensive and my connection to the people, culture, and land runs very deep. Over the past fifteen years, I have lived in two different homes in Greene County. I had the pleasure of building both of those homes from the ground up. This means I was responsible for the entire process, from the initial clearing of the land to moving in after construction. This experience has been vital to understanding home construction and what it takes to make a quality home. I am married to Tina Samuels and I have a son in the Marines and two daughters who attend schools in Greene County. I also enjoy playing and teaching music of all kinds and often play for charitable causes throughout central Virginia and the Valley.
