I started my dog training education in 1991 at California K9 Academy in Burbank, California. In 1993, I became a certified trainer with Animal Behavior and Training Associates (ABTA, now known as Animal Behavior College). In my 7 years with that company, I was promoted to District Training Manager, responsible for hiring and training new trainers. I specialized in basic obedience and problem solving, conducted private lessons, and taught group classes through a partnership with PetCo. I left ABTA in 2003 to become a 911 operator/dispatcher for the city of Los Angeles ~ but my passion of helping owners gain a loving and respectful relationship with their dogs never left me. Now, I'm "back in the saddle again" and looking forward to reconnecting with my passion.
