Abstract:
A cable locking mechanism for use in a variety of cable locks that includes one or more locking clamps, a lever arm, a spring that biases the locking clamps, and an actuation means that engages the lever arm. When a cable is inserted into a cable passageway of a cable lock, the locking clamps secure the cable and prevent it withdrawal from the lock body. To remove the cable, the actuation means is deployed to move the lever arm, which engages and displaces the locking clamps along a sloped surface. The displacement of the locking clamps widens the cable passageway, thereby allowing the cable to move freely in and out of the lock body.

Abstract:
The invention provides a pair of cuff locks joined by a universal joint and linkage system which provides for 360 relative rotation between the cuffs as well as allow the cuffs to be folded together into a compact position. The invention further provides for a push button cylinder lock which includes a rotatable plug and a fixed plug each having a plurality of aligned bores for receiving one or more tumbler pins. The push button cylinder lock further includes a non-rotatable push button shaft which is sildably mounted within the housing. One or more retaining pins engage locking indents of the push button shaft.

A shackle leg changeable combination lock including clutches and combination wheels slidable to position therein for positive engagement in which the combination wheels are axially restrained in position by a removable cap held by a detent means. The cap is removable when a shackle leg is moved upwardly to an unlock position and the cap detent means is overcome by application of force.

Abstract:
A lockable door seat assembly having two assemblies which are insertable from either side of a door opening for temporary engagement until permanent securing means has been assembled. The door set also includes means for translating the turn bar using available household tools to release the cylinder lock for substitution without removing the lock set from the door. Assembly of the turn bar and cylinder lock are facilitated by a turn button adaptor projection which projection does not interfere with normal door set operation.
