RELEVANT SKILLS and ACCOMPLISHMENTS Applied Skills Assembly of various components for various clients (ISO), primarily for Applied Materials (AKT) in the manufacture of plasma TVs (high vacuum systems, use of cranes and various other tools, always assuring quality. Quality Control post assembly of air separation machines, inclusive of testing, repair and certification. Checked flow and/or backflow through various stages of a compressor-based unit, periodically changing tubes or other electrical/mechanical parts due to specs/flow being incorrect, including chemical-based beds (cylinders), assuring clients the units would purify the air to 95% oxygen 2, with the correct flow ratio in accordance to unit specifications/beds size (varied by unit), shipping / receiving assignment as needed. Assembly of control boards for fiber optic testers from panel level to final product (for Lucent Technologies) based on schematic designs, for both mechanical and electrical components. Established Certification of Analysis of final product through use of gas chromatographer (calibration and data interpretation under provisions of R&D Dept.), titration, fluoride analyzer among others; input data into engineering database. Used EPA protocols for extraction, (e.g., liquid-liquid, shake-out, sonication and various others) of air, water, soil slush for organic preparation, and a variety of clean-up methods, including sulfuric acid, inventory, waste control and shipping and receiving. Technical responsibility in the set up and validation of the following manufacturing systems, stripping/cleaning, grafting and Q.C of DNA Sequencing flow cells assuring accuracy in both records and processes. Equipment used; Typhoon and Gene Pix image analyzers, Syrris for hybridization / dehybridization among others and various engineered programs for the stripping and grafting processes using common laboratory equipment and reagents for the task. Equipment used: Gel Permeation Chromatography, Infrared (TPH) Analyzer, Centrifuge, Roto Evaporator, Kuderna-Danish Bath among others to include pipettes and other peripheral duties etc. Other assignments: inventory, shipping/receiving, waste management as assigned and inspection of products. Glassware preparation (autoclave, solvent rinse). Established calibration codes for various strip lots for glucose meters, calibration of various lab equipment and record keeping. Quality control post assembly in various high tech and biotech industries. Testing of various product contents, consistency, and packaging.
