Abstract:

A novel door jamb made of a plurality of sections which are maintained together in a rigid, dimensionally stable frame by strap means disposed around the door jamb members. The strap means are disposed around the inner surfaces of the jamb members which have a generally T-shaped configuration. The strap means are located within the jamb between the fiberglass matter making up the major portion of the jamb assembly and the sidewalls of the jamb.

Abstract:

A computer system and method of operation has a retargeting program and apparatus which permits adding incorrectly targeted processors and a maintenance interface module (MIM) and automatically retargets them for the correct system. Each processor first determines its own system type, and the overall system type. Incorrectly targeted processors wait for retargeting, while correctly targeted processors select a master processor. The master processor retargets all incorrectly targeted processors by transferring an image of its correctly targeted firmware microcode into their RAM to be burned into their firmware. The MIM is retargeted using master processor code. Only accurately targeted or retargeted processors and MIM can be incorporated into the operating system.

Abstract:

A cam rise hinge has a swingable strap portion which is cammed up relative to a stationary butt portion when a door on which the strap portion is mounted is swung towards its open position. A coiled wire torsion-compression spring is positioned and mounted so as to be compressed and simultaneously twisted when the strap portion is cammed up. This generates two different forces aiding each other and gravity in swinging the strap portion and door back toward closed position.

Abstract:

A floor sealing gasket is described for use under wall panels in cooler constructions. The gasket comprises an elongate strip having a base with a generally flat bottom surface. A flexible downwardly projecting tip extends along at least one edge of the bottom surface of the base and generally parallel arms extend upwardly from each side of the base. The upper portion of each arm includes a flexible wing which is biased inwardly.

Abstract:

A novel door jamb having an isolated heat strip in which the surface to be contacted by the door is made of a re-enforced fiberglass material which has high impact resistance, superior chemical and corrosion resistance, will not easily scratch, and can be readily repaired. Secured to the fiberglass section of the door jamb is an isolated heat strip material requiring a low wattage, which functions to keep the door gasket pliable allowing it to seal tightly to the jamb and thus eliminate any chance of frost buildup on the jamb due to outside air leakage by the gasket.
