Abstract:

Reduction of index undulation errors associated with helical gear teeth caused by the grinding process during the manufacture of the gears without degrading other gear accuracies (e. g. profile, tooth spacing) below levels required for precision (AGMA16 or DIN1) gears. A mold of the space between several gear teeth is obtained, with the mold having a length equal to or greater than the wavelength of the undulation error to be reduced. A microfinishing film is affixed to the mold and the mold is placed relative to a gear tooth so that the microfinishing film rests against a tooth surface having the undulation error. The grit size of the microfinishing film is such as to remove approximately 2 to 3 millionths of gear material with each pass through the teeth by the mold. Multiple passes are made by hand until the undulation error is reduced to an acceptable value. During the process the microfinishing film is replaced after approximately 3 or 4 passes and the process is repeated for each tooth of the gear.

A method for awarding equity rewards from social activity in a virtual social media platform enables the administrator of a social media platform to reward members of the social media platform with equity ownership based on the member's actions, activity and ability to attract other to the network. The method for awarding equity rewards from social activity in a virtual social media platform employs an activity monitor module that monitors the social media network for social actions performed by users, a points assignment module that assigns equity points to a user's account in response to that user's social activity on the network, a tracking for storing all social actions performed on the network and equity points assigned to users, and a points redemption module that facilitates the redemption of equity points for shares of equity in the social media platform.

Abstract:

A method of retrieving categorical data entries through an interactive graphical abstraction employs a generate categorical post entries process and a load categorical post entries process. Through the generate categorical post entries process, post entries generated by a user are automatically associated in a user post entry database table with a specific BranchID value of which the posting user is the OwnerUserID, thereby enabling retrieval thereof. Through the loading categorical post entries process, a user a desired branch of a an interactive graphical abstraction on a graphical user interface, thereby causing each post entry in the database from a user on the branch selected by the user through the interactive graphical abstraction to be pulled for display or storage.
