A rotatably mounted control dial has two axial positions: a depressed, locked position, and an extended, unlocked position. A user can selectively lock and unlock the dial by pressing on it to activate or de-activate a spring-loaded latch.
A coating mixture is applied to a hair appliance such as a styling iron, a dryer, or a roller by being mixed with a paint or by other known deposition means, and includes a ceramic component and a tourmaline component. Preferably, the ceramic component contains one or more of Silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, Ferrous oxide, Natrium oxide, potassium oxide, Titanium oxide, Calcium oxide, and magnesium oxide. The tourmaline component comprises crushed tourmaline particles of a size and concentration generally known in the art. By applying both components, preferably in the form of a mixed paint, a surface on an appliance or accessory that is adapted to receive heat will emit ions and, due to the known characteristics of both ceramic and tourmaline, will retain and distribute heat efficiently and evenly.

Abstract:
An aircraft door is slidable along a door path between open and closed positions. The door is guided by one or more tracks. Riders carried by the door are engaged to the tracks. Each rider includes a roller held for rotation about a roller axis which is fixed relative to the door. Each roller axis extends generally horizontally and generally transverse to the track. Each track includes a first portion extending generally parallel to the aircraft fuselage and a second portion having a continuously curving transition to the first portion and extending partially inboard from the first portion. The second portion of the track guides the door into and out of the opening in the fuselage, allowing the door to achieve a substantially flush condition when in its closed position.
