Abstract:

According to various embodiments, multiple frames, each having image data and metadata, can be aggregated into pictures. The frames may come from different image capture devices, enabling aggregation of image data from multiple sources. Aggregation can be automatic, or it can be performed in response to user input specifying particular combinations of frames to be aggregated. In various embodiments, pictures are mutable, whereas immutability of the constituent frames is enforced. In various embodiments, certain metadata elements that are not essential to rendering can be selectively removed from frames, so as to address privacy concerns. In various embodiments, frames can be authenticated by the use of digests generated by a hash function.

Abstract:

A system and method are provided for storing, manipulating, and/or transmitting image data, such as light field photographs and the like, in a manner that efficiently delivers different capabilities and features based on device attributes, user requirements and preferences, context, and/or other factors. Acceleration structures are provided, which enable selective use of certain types of data (also referred to as “assets”) based on device attributes such as image size, desired functionality, user preference, and/or the like. In this manner, the system and method of the present invention takes into account specific attributes and parameters in determining which data should be included, so as to optimize transmission, storage, and/or rendering of image data, including light field data, to improve efficiency and avoid waste of resources.

Abstract:

A needle guide ensures that an angiographic needle is inserted into a patient's femoral artery at a prescribed location, angle and direction. The needle guide includes an elongated base having a recess on one end defined by a pair of projecting fingers, and a support member on the upper surface of the base adjacent to the recess. The support member has a support surface which is inclined at a prescribed angle with respect to a locating plane defined by the base. The length of the projecting fingers help position the support surface at a spaced distance from the patient's inguinal crease, while a channel in the support surface cradles and guides the angiographic needle at the prescribed angle as it is inserted into the femoral artery. The needle guide may include a second recess defined by a pair of projecting fingers at the opposite end of the base and another support member adjacent thereto. This other support member may have a support surface inclined at an angle relative to the locating plane of the base which is different from the angle the first support member makes with the locating plane of the base.

Systems and methods of analyzing a user's motion during a swimming session are described. One or more motions sensors can collect motion data of the user. A processor circuit can make motion analysis based on the motion data. The processor circuit can determine if the user's arm swing is a genuine swim stroke. The processor circuit can also determine whether the user is swimming or turning. The processor circuit can also classify the user's swim stroke style. Abstract:

A neural processor includes neural engines for performing convolution operations on input data corresponding to one or more tasks to generate output data. The neural processor also includes a data processor circuit coupled to external system memory. The data processor circuit includes a buffer for storing the output data from the neural engines. The neural processor further includes a task manager coupled to the data processor circuit. The task manager receives a context-switch task. The context-switch task specifies a switch of the data processor circuit from handling an outgoing task to an incoming task. The task manager sends configuration data of the context-switch task to cause the data processor circuit to transmit the output data corresponding to the outgoing task from the buffer to the external system memory. The data processor circuit also fetches data corresponding to the incoming task from the external system memory to the buffer.

Embodiments relate to a neural processor circuit including one or more planar engine circuits that perform non-convolution operations in parallel with convolution operations performed by one or more neural engine circuits. The neural engine circuits perform the convolution operations on neural input data corresponding to one or more neural engine tasks to generate neural output data. Abstract:

A neural processor includes one or more neural engine circuits and a planar engine circuit. The neural engine circuits can perform convolution operations of first input data with one or more kernels to generate a first output. The planar engine circuit receives second input data that corresponds to a version of the first input data. The planar engine circuit also receives third input data that includes fourth input data and fifth input data stored together in a dimension of third input data. The planar engine circuit performs a first elementwise operation between a version of the second input data and a version of the fourth input data to generate intermediate data. The planar engine circuit performs a second elementwise operation between the intermediate data and a version of the fifth input data to generate a second output.
