Abstract:

A computer implemented method, an apparatus, and a computer usable program product for rendering client-side logic in a webpage when the webpage is rendered is provided. A webpage development framework initiates a script component built in a component library of a webpage development framework, wherein the script component is subject to a lifecycle of the webpage development framework. The webpage development framework defines at least one webpage attribute using at least one value-binding expression in the script component, wherein the at least one value-binding expression provides access to a server-side data model. The webpage development framework then evaluates the at least one value-binding expression, wherein the at least one value-binding expression comprises a current value for the server-side data model.

Abstract:

A technique for managing package dependencies for an application installation. A set of used files for the application and a package for a respective file in the set of used files are identified, and names of the identified packages are added to an original package list of package names for the application, wherein the original package list defines package dependencies. Responsive to a determination that the identified packages can be located, that the files within the identified packages can be found, and that the files within the identified packages were used, the original list of package names for the application is updated to form an updated list of managed package dependencies. A difference list between the updated list and the original list of package names is created, and the application is selectively installed using a combination of the original list of package names and the difference list.

Abstract:

A client information handling system (IHS) includes a dependency database that stores both installation dependency information and operational dependency information for installed software components and candidate software components. The client IHS also includes a request handler that, in response to a request to change the software configuration of the IHS, checks the dependency database for conflicts between a candidate software component and both installation and operational dependencies that the dependency database stores.
