A therapeutic bed mattress. In one embodiment, the bed mattress includes a mattress frame ( A), rope elements ( ) are secured substantially to an upper surface of the bed frame. The rope elements are secured between at least two sides of the bed frame. At least one vibration member ( ) is attached to and below the rope elements. The vibration member includes a shaft ( ), a pulley ( ) attached axially to one end of the shaft, and a counterweight ( ) attached to the shaft. At least one motor ( ) including an output shaft ( ) and a motor pulley ( ) axially attached to the output shaft vibrates the rope elements. At least one belt ( ) is secured between the pulley of the vibration member and the motor pulley of the motor, such that when the motor is powered, the output shaft of the motor rotates the motor pulley which rotates the belt such that the pulley of the vibration member is rotated to rotate the shaft of the vibration member and the counterweight, in order to vibrate the rope elements. In another embodiment, the vibration member ( ) is replaced by a vibrator ( ). In yet another embodiment, the bed mattress is a recliner.
An improved therapeutic bed includes a bed frame; at least one spring holder, each extending along a first direction of the bed frame and including first channels provided at a top area of the at least one spring holder; coil springs disposed respectively in the first channels of the at least one spring holder, each of the coil springs extending along a second direction of the bed frame between two sides of the bed frame; at least one vibration shaft member disposed below the at least one coil spring holder and extending along the first direction of the bed frame; and a motor configured to generate vibration to the at least one vibration shaft member. The vibration is transferred from the at least one vibration shaft member to the coil springs through the at least one spring holder, whereby the therapeutic bed has improved durability and massaging effect.
A therapeutic bed comprises a plurality of elongated tubular wires connected to a pair of bed frames for forming a bed floor to massage or treat various regions of the human body lying prone thereon.
An apparatus for suspending bedclothing which comprises a rectangular cross frame, four supporting posts extending downwardly from corners of the rectangular cross frame, a pair of wires from the cross frame, grasping members connected to one ends of the chains, a pair of rods disposed in the underside of the bedclothes whereby the bedclothing hangs by the chains for relieving the occupant from the weight of the bedclothing and treating various regions of the body of the occupant on the bed. In addition, the occupant of the bed can used light emitting members which may operate as a sauna, and TV and video cassette sets supported by the supporting post thereof.
An improved therapeutic bed comprising a plurality of substantially parallel rubber wires placed on a bed frame and a vibrating motor and an intermittent hitting plate operatively associated with the rubber wires for massaging and treating various portions of the human body.
