Abstract:
Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: obtaining an input including an image of a plant, identifying a species of the plant by use of visual recognition of the image. The image is analyzed for symptoms and candidate diagnoses are selected from a diagnostic repository according to the symptoms. With respective candidate diagnoses, a confidence score and a treatment regimen are associated. According to a treatment mode, the candidate diagnoses and treatment regimen are delivered.

Abstract:
A cognitive assistant for mobile devices in low power mode. A first signal may be received from a mobile device via a communication network, the first signal indicating that the mobile device entered low power mode. Responsive to receiving the first signal, communications from a plurality of servers directed to the mobile device may be registered to be rerouted to another device. Communications' content may be analyzed and the communications assigned weights. A selected set of communications that are assigned weights exceeding a threshold value is transmitted to the mobile device in low power mode.

Abstract:
Learning activities for a particular topic are identified according to a user profile. The learning activities are identified from resources such as advertised local events, technical publications, social network postings, and related websites. The user profile includes information for selecting a learning activity, such as learning preferences of the user, level of skill in the particular topic, and curriculum in which the user participates.

Recommending Content Of Streaming Media By A Cognitive System In An Infrastructure
A method for using emotional analysis to recommend streaming media content by a cognitive system in an infrastructure. The cognitive system receives, from at least one of a mobile device and a camera, information of at least one of biometrics, movement, body language, and facial expression of a user. The cognitive system derives a current emotional state of the user, based on the information of the at least one of the biometrics, the movement, the body language, and the facial expression. The cognitive system matches the current emotional state to a streaming media category or user's one of previous emotional states stored in a repository in the infrastructure. The cognitive system sends to a streaming media service a recommendation on streaming media content to be consumed by the user, wherein the recommendation is based on either the category or the user's one of previous emotional states.
Recommending Content Of Streaming Media By A Cognitive System In An Infrastructure
A computer program product and a computer system for using emotional analysis to recommend streaming media content by a cognitive system in an infrastructure.
