  • Abstract:
    The fencing mask comprises a steel mesh or plastic face piece for protecting the face of a wearer. A fabric bib for protecting the neck of the wearer, is detachably secured to the mask by means of an elongate channel member connected to the lower edge thereof and extending from one side of the mask to the other from positions adjacent the ears of the wearer and passing under the chin of the wearer when worn and a co-operating elongate bead provided on or adjacent the upper edge of the bib.

    A mask for protecting the face and neck of a person while fencing comprises a mask body including a face piece for protecting the face of the wearer, a neck covering member for protecting the neck of a wearer and retaining means comprising a first strap extending rearwardly and downwardly from an upper portion of the mask body, a second member extending rearwardly from a first side of the mask body, a third strap extending rearwardly from a second side of the mask body opposite said first side, a connecting member being provided at the intersection of the first, second and third strap or harness members, each of said first, second and third strap or harness members being connected to said connecting member the connecting member comprising a dished plate-like member having first, second and third apertures therein, through which apertures are respectively received a respective end of the first, second and third straps.

    A storage system comprises a rail having a protrusion including a first flange and a second flange. An accessory mount for mounting to the rail includes a top hook for engaging the first flange and a resilient bottom hook for engaging the second flange. The rail comprises a back rail portion comprising a substantially planar member and a front rail portion substantially coextensive with the back rail portion and secured to the back rail portion. The protrusion may be symmetrical about the longitudinal axis. The first flange and the second flange define first and second recesses. A method of assembling a support is also provided where a first hook is inserted the first flange and a second hook deforms to engage the second flange.

    An apparatus for extending a length of a golf club shaft is disclosed. The apparatus includes an expandable plug with an extension length that is fitted in the hollow interior of a shaft of the golf club in a grip area of the club. The plug has wedge portions which provide the mechanism for anchoring the plug to the golf club shaft. The plug may be provided as part of a kit including instructions related to the plug and a golf club. The kit may allow the plug to be retrofitted on an existing golf club to alter a length of the club. A method of extending the length of the golf club is also disclosed.

    An improved method for overhead casting and retrieving a fishing jig and bait. The fishing caster provides a generally cylindrical, hollow body having a flat, closed top, a wall and an open bottom. The body presents a body axis from top to bottom. Drag upon reeling in is reduced by a plurality of elliptical vents formed in the wall, each vent presenting an elliptical axis substantially in alignment with the body axis, and by a cone within the hollow body, extending downwardly from the top.The improved fishing caster also includes structure forming a threading hole in the wall and two radially spaced indentations along the bottom of the body. The indentations form a tooth substantially aligned with the body axis, to secure the fishing line to the caster. A fluorescent lighting stick is mounted on top, for night fishing, as well as location of the caster in foliage.

The rail may include a first rail segment and a second rail segment where the device for providing power to the rail comprises a power strip located between the first rail segment and the second rail segment. The device for providing power to the rail may comprise an electrical conductor extending along a length of the rail. The electrical conductor is powered by a power module that connects to the rail. A power strip for use in the system is also provided.
