Abstract:

The present device relates to an apparatus and a method for allowing a golfer to properly grip a golf club. A proper grip is one that allows for the most efficient radial deviation (abduction) and ulnar deviation (adduction) as well as flexion and extension of the wrist of the golfer's upper hand, while also minimizing club head and shaft axis rotation during a golf swing. This grip can be achieved through the use of a marking system comprising the golfer's glove and the grip of the golf club. By matching one or more markings on the glove, placed in specific locations on its anterior, with one or more markings located on specific positions on a golf club grip, the proper location of the golfer's upper hand can be found and the proper grip can then be made.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus for providing a golfer with a set of clubs that are each configured to match the golfer's specific hand height. A measuring club can be used to measure the golfer's hand height, which can then be adjusted (decreased by a constant amount) to account for bending at the pelvic waist. Any number and type of golf clubs can then be made for the golfer by determining a lie angle and club length that all match the adjusted hand height. Sets of clubs, each set configured for a particular adjusted hand height, can also be stocked by a store and sold to a customer (golfer), the golfer receiving a set that matches his/her adjusted hand height. In this manner, the golfer can use all of these constant hand height clubs without having to change his or her stance for each of the clubs since the clubs are all configured to match the hand height of the golfer.

A data processing system is described wherein, during linkage to a subroutine, by a single machine instruction, a complete status save and the assignment of a dynamic work area are effected. By another single machine instruction the process is reversed. Abstract:

System mode controls for obtaining limited addressability for supervisor programming operations without disturbing a user address key currently contained in a user key register (UKR). The mode controls are provided by bits in a system register called a level status register (LSR), which include an APM bit, and a supervisor state bit. The largest supervisor addressability is obtained when both the APM and supervisor state bits are set on, which permits execution of a supervisor program which can access user data and programs. In more detail, each instruction fetch must be in the supervisor key area, identified by a predetermined supervisor key value which is not in the UKR, while each operand of the fetched supervisor instruction is accessed in the user key area identified by the current key in the UKR. The supervisor is not permitted to access any user area which does not have its key in the UKR. Thus, the supervisor can be prevented from having addressability over part or all of the main memory.
