Verizon customers with 4G-enabled devices, such as smartphones and tablets, will be able to browse the web, use apps and download files at speeds 10 times faster than the company's 3G network, according to Laura Merritt, a spokesperson for Verizon.
s data usage can be confusing, but Verizon estimates that 2 gigabytestranslates into more than 1,000 emails, or more than 100 web pages, or more than 20 hours ofstreaming radio, or more than two hours of streaming video. "Each of those uses is equal to 2gigabytes," spokeswoman Laura Merritt said.
