Abstract:

A method of using heat resistant hollow sphere polymers having a core stage that has been swollen with a hard or fixed base, in applications in which the hollow sphere polymer is exposed to temperatures of from 100 C. to 350 C., is disclosed. Articles made by the method are also disclosed.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of a binder and from 0.01 to 2 weight percent, based on the weight of the binder, of a defoamer characterized by the following structure:wherein R, R, x, y, m, and n are defined herein.
