Abstract:A system for protecting a motor vehicle is disclosed. A motor vehicle having an electronic lock openable by a remote radio signal originating from outside the motor vehicle includes a fabric configured to attenuate the transmission of radio waves therethrough. The fabric has a plurality of fibers plated with a metal and formed into a flexible washable, planar material, the fabric. The fabric is shaped to comprise a three-dimensional shape approximating the exterior shape of the motor vehicle and is disposed about the exterior of the motor vehicle substantially enclosing the top and sides of the motor vehicle.
