Abstract:

Partially-synchronous and non-integer integrated circuit counters for dividing a high-speed reference clock signal with a selectable divisor have been provided. The circuits use a high-speed synchronous counter that cycles between the use of a selectable and a fixed divisor, to give the counter circuit a selectable overall division ratio. The partially-synchronous counter circuit uses asynchronous dividers to complete the division process and to minimize power consumption. A non-integer counter circuit is provided that includes a edge select mechanism to reduce power consumption in the division process. Examples are presented with specific number of stages, and corresponding divisors and divisor ranges. Method for implementing the above-mentioned partially-synchronous and non-integer counter circuits have also been provided.

Abstract:

Various embodiments of a multi-laser system are disclosed. In some embodiments, the multi-laser system includes a plurality of lasers, a plurality of laser beams, a beam positioning system, beam focusing optics, a thermally stable enclosure and a temperature controller. The thermally stable enclosure is configured to thermally and mechanically couple to a flow cell. The thermally stable enclosure substantially comprises a material with high thermal conductivity. The thermally stable enclosure can have a relatively small volume.

Abstract:

A face insert for golf club head in one embodiment can comprise a substrate comprising a score line groove-free front surface. A cover layer is provided at least on the front surface of the substrate. The cover layer can alternatively overlay at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the substrate. The cover layer comprises a ball-striking surface spaced by the cover layer from the substrate. Plural elongated score line grooves can extend into the polymer layer from the ball-striking surface. In addition, visible markings are interposed between the cover layer and the front surface of the substrate, the visible markings being visible through the cover layer. In one form the visible markings comprise elongated score line markings and target markings in a central portion of the substrate. The visible markings can be screen-printed markings, which are then protected by the cover layer from wear. The cover layer can be molded and can be a polymer layer.

Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an optical system that includes a base unit and one or more cartridges that are removably attachable to the base unit. The one or more cartridges can include optical components configured to output a beam of light (e.g., a laser).
