Abstract:
This adjustment mechanism/assembly for a backrest/headrest includes a series of parts connected by a threaded rod with a knob on each end. The parts are arranged such that they sandwich two support members so that when the knobs are loosened the unit can easily slide up and down, changing the elevation of the backrest/headrest pad unit with respect to a seat bottom or seat back. Further, when the knobs are loose the upper member and its attached pad can be pivoted fore and aft and slide back and forth. Tightening the two knobs locks the entire unit in place.
A seat incorporating insert(s) intermediate its upper and lower surfaces. A seat insert for the support of the users buttocks conforms to the user's body, has “rebound” properties, and areas adapted to underlie the perineum and/or ischiums of a user softer than the rest of the seat insert. Alternatively, a perineal insert and/or ischium inserts may be used without the seat insert described. Finally, a heatable insert can be used in conjunction with or in the absence of said seat inserts to provide heat for the comfort of a seat user. In all cases, the aforesaid inserts are preferably completely encapsulated and enclosed by the foam materials making up the seat, which can be accomplished by molding the seat around the insert(s), creating a seat with various internal density zones, adjustable heat, and enhanced abilities to conform to the user's body, while limiting pressure on perineum and/or ischiums.
A liner includes an abrasion layer comprised of a water impermeable film, a cushioning foam intermediate layer, and an absorbent layer comprised of an absorbent fabric. The abrasion layer may be a PVC film of approximately 1 mm to 0.1 mm in thickness. The cushioning foam intermediate layer may be comprised of a PVC, 1 mm to 4 mm in thickness. The absorbent layer may be comprised of felt and may be cure bonded to the second surface of the cushioning foam intermediate layer. A cutting guide tool with an alignment head and at least one blade guide runner is also provided. Each blade guide runner has a blade channel extending along the length of the blade guide runner and may display measurement indicia to facilitate precise cutting.
The instant invention teaches a protective cover for an electrical switch forming part of an electrical circuit having three key components: a fastening flange adapted to be secured to a cover plate for the switch, a shield portion connected to the fastening flange which serves to help block accidental contact, activation and/or access to the electrical switch, but does not totally prevent intentional movement of the switch by a user (especially via a hand-held tool), and a snap off tab or tabs forming part of the shield portion, with the snap off tab or tabs being adapted to be snapped off and removed to allow freer access to and movement of the electrical switch by a user while still providing significant protection against accidental contact and activation.

The instant invention teaches a seat incorporating an insert or inserts intermediate its upper and lower surfaces. A seat insert adapted for the support of the users buttocks and/or upper thighs conforms to the contours of the user's body over a period of time, has certain “rebound” properties, and features an area adapted to underlie the perineum of a user seated on the seat, which area is softer than the rest of the seat insert either by virtue of an included gap in the seat insert or by virtue of a softer material filling said gap. Alternatively, a perineal insert of softer material may be used without the seat insert described. In either case, the aforesaid inserts are preferably completely encapsulated and enclosed by the foam materials making up the seat, which can be accomplished by molding the seat around the insert(s). These innovations enable the seat to be molded with various internal density control zones and to otherwise provide a more comfortable seat to the user with enhanced abilities to conform to the user's body and enhanced springiness, while limiting pressure on the user's perineum.

Mark Todd, of price comparison website Energyhelpline, com, suggests that even bigger price cuts averaging 129, or 9.7% per household, could be found. This allowed for the fact that many energy companies bought much of their wholesale gas well in advance to counter any price shocks.

Energy prices tumble - so how far will gas and electricity bills fall?
Bills also remain high as energy firms prey on customers who fail to switch when their fixed tariffs end. Mark Todd of energyhelpline.com said: "Companies know about this and are exploiting these customers."
In 2009, Sgt. Kimberly Munley, a civilian police officer, was washing her car and topping off the gas tank when she got the report that shots had been fired at Fort Hood. She and Senior Sgt. Mark Todd responded to the scene and were directed to the Soldier Readiness Processing Center.
After about three hours, they asked if they could review the testimony of Sgt. Mark Todd, the Fort Hood police officer who ended the rampage by shooting the gunman. In a statement submitted to the court, Todd testified that Hasan fired at him before he fired back, hit the soldier and then kicked aw
Court reconvened briefly Thursday evening after the jury said it had two questions. Jurors asked to have police officer Mark Todd's testimony read back to them and asked to see a map of buildings at Fort Hood.
eanwhile, the former Fort Hood officer who shot and paralyzed Hasan did not testify in person because of an unspecified medical condition that prosecutors said renders him unable to speak clearly. Prosecutors read a statement from Mark Todd to jurors in which he described the final chapter of the shooting.Former Fort Hood police officer Mark Todd fired the shots that brought Hasan down, but prosecutors say he is suffering from an unspecified medical condition that makes it difficult for him to speak. We will see if he takes the stand later this morning, and if so, if he is able to testify.
It appears former Fort Hood police Sgt. Mark Todd, who shot Hasan during the shooting, will not testify. Osborn will conduct a hearing out of the jury's presence where Hasan and prosecutors will stipulate to Todd's testimony, basing it on 2010 testimony during the major's Article 32 hearing.
