Oh, gosh. It would mean a ton, left guard Max Copeland said. The most important things you accomplish arent quantifiable, but at the same time, for what he overcame and the situation hes put himself in and how hard hes worked, Im sure he would feel a great sense of validation for that.
"Yeah, dude, that's what we get paid to do (figuratively speaking), to move people," senior left guard Max Copeland said. "When we don't do that well we want to make sure we redeem ourselves. Today was a little bit about redemption, and putting the past behind us."
Three Mizzou starters are recovering from injuries, but Pinkel expects them to be back in the lineup against the Hoosiers: cornerback E.J. Gaines (concussion), left guard Max Copeland (sprained ankle) and weakside linebacker Kentrell Brothers (sprained ankle).
Henry Josey is listed as the starter but expect backups Russell Hansbrough and Marcus Murphy to see significant playing time. All three are around 5-foot-10, 190-pounds, relying on speed and misdirection to fool defenses and occasionally their own offensive line, according to guard Max Copeland. T
