Abstract:

There are provided systems and methods for wireless beacon devices for use in managing transportation service terminals. A user may travel with a device, such as a communication device, that includes a communication module that may utilize specialized hardware features to establish short range wireless communications with nearby wireless beacons. The wireless beacons may be established at or nearby transportation service terminals, such as bus/train stops. The beacon may provide the aforementioned communication services with the communication device and be utilized to determine whether the user will utilize a transportation service for the terminal. If the user wishes to utilize the transportation service, a transportation service may be alerted. The user may also be alerted of an expected time of arrival for the transportation service, other transportation services available at the transportation terminal, and/or of nearby transportation terminals.

Abstract:

A system and/or method may be provided to assure a payment being made via a user device before the user device fully runs out of battery power. In particular, while a user device is running out of battery power, the system may allow a user to designate a merchant/user/service to which the user may make payments via a user device without user authentication and/or awareness. Under the same situation of low battery power, the system may also allow the user to make payments to a merchant/user/service with which the user frequently shops without user authentication and/or initial awareness. After the payment being made, the system may communicate with the user with further action, which requires no or low consumption of battery power.

Methods and systems for improving access to an attraction are described. A user pays for a purchase using a service provider. The service provider generates a pass to an attraction associated with the purchase. The pass can designate a future time and an access code for accessing the attraction. When the user returns at the assigned future time, the right of the user to the attraction at the assigned time is validated with the pass, and the user is granted immediate access to the attraction.

Abstract:

Systems and methods for presenting offers based on personal metrics are provided. A user uses a mobile device or a wearable device with sensors to measure various personal metrics. The user uses the device to track activity, sleep, vital signs, and any other personal metrics. A service provider receives the personal metric data and other personal metric information. The service provider receives offers, such as coupons and voucher deals, for products and/or services from merchants. The service provider then presents offers to the user based on personal metric information of the user and other information, such as sleep patterns, hours slept, activity levels, distance traveled, measured heart rates, time of day, and/or location.
