Abstract:
A simultaneously interactive map display and textual listing is presented where both are simultaneously displayed on a display device. The display area of the display device is divided between the map display and the textual listing with one of them receiving a greater proportion than the other. User input directed to the one receiving the greater proportion can be responded to in a traditional manner, while user input directed to the one receiving the lesser proportion can cause a transition whereby the display area is re-proportioned and, with such re-proportioning, the user input can also be responded to in a traditional manner. Additionally, user selections in the textual listing can be simultaneously reflected in the map display, and vice versa, irrespective of which has the greater proportion of the display area. Optionally, a re-proportioning transition can be triggered by such user selections.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for wireless powering and control of conveyors on shuttles. An example system may include a track, and a shuttle configured to move along the track, the shuttle having a conveyor, and a first induction coil. The system may include a second induction coil disposed at a first location along the track, where the second induction coil is configured to interact with the first induction coil to power the conveyor. The shuttle may not have an onboard power source coupled to the conveyor.

Abstract:
A virtual skeleton may be adapted based on a capability profile. The virtual skeleton adapted based on a capability profile may be generated from a master virtual skeleton. The adapted virtual skeleton may be less complex than the master virtual skeleton. The adapted virtual skeleton may include fewer virtual skeletal joints than a number of virtual skeletal joints associated with the master virtual skeleton.

Abstract:
A computer-implemented technique is described herein for presenting notifications on a user interface presentation of a recipient computing device. The technique is considered tiered because it distinguishes between first-type (people-centric) notifications and second-type notifications, and because it processes and presents first-type notifications in a privileged manner compared to the second-type notifications. For instance, the technique presents content associated with each first-type notification in an allocated window that appears in positional association with a person indicator, where that person indicator identifies the person who sent the first-type notification; the technique presents each second-type notification in a different manner. In some implementations, an application developer who designs a custom first-type notification is given authority to draw within the allocated window that is used to present the custom first-type notification in a manner specified by the application developer.

Abstract:
One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for populating a scene of a visual interface with a portal. For example, one or more points of interest may be identified for the scene (e.g., a lake, a park, a condo, and/or other points of interest for a city scene). The scene may be populated with portals corresponding to the points of interest (e.g., a portal may have a semi-transparent perimeter compassing at least some of a point of interest, which may mitigate occlusion of the scene). A portal may be hydrated with imagery of a point of interest to provide a preview of the point of interest (e.g., a first portal for the lake may be hydrated with imagery of the lake). A user may seamlessly navigate between and/or explore scenes by selecting portals to transition the visual interface to new scenes depicting corresponding points of interest.

Abstract:
One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for exposing one or more points of interest through a visual interface, such as a map. For example, the visual interface may correspond to a location displayed at a first level of detail (e.g., a state level of granularity). One or more points of interest (e.g., coffee shops within the state) may be clustered to generate one or more clustering halos (e.g., a first clustering halo comprising coffee shops within a city), which may be populated within the visual interface. The visual interface may be transitioned into various levels of detail, such as a first transitioned visual interface comprising points of interest at a city level, a second transitioned visual interface comprising points of interest at a building/street level of detail, etc. Portals corresponding to points of interest may be hydrated with imagery for such points of interest.
