Abstract:

The present invention and method is a training system for baseball and softball batters containing but not limited to a manually operated mobile batting tee and an illustrated board on which the tee is maneuvered. The operator is positioned at the opposite end of the board from home plate. The device is operated by placing a ball on the bristled head and using the adjustable handle to push the mobile tee to marked locations where the ball is then hit by the batter. After the ball is struck the operator pulls the tee back to it's original location where another ball is loaded and the cycle is repeated. Ball elevation is adjusted by releasing the tension device and moving the stem up or down. For young players the device with ball can be placed in front of home plate and pulled rearward to simulate a pitched ball.

Abstract:

A method of transporting an IP packet () from a receiving RapidIO node () over a RapidIO network () to a destination RapidIO node () includes the RapidIO domain receiving the IP packet and reading a destination IP address () of the IP packet, where the destination IP address corresponds to the destination RapidIO node. The receiving RapidIO node creates at least one RapidIO packet () and maps the destination IP address of the IP packet to a destination node ID () of the at least one RapidIO packet The destination node ID is placed into a RapidIO header () of the at least one RapidIO packet and at least a portion of the IP packet is encapsulated in the at least one RapidIO packet. The at least one RapidIO packet is communicated to the destination RapidIO node over the RapidIO network.

Abstract:

Baseball and softball hitters who use conventional or stationary batting tees during practice sessions hit a ball that is sitting still and not rotating like a ball thrown by a human, another problem is that hitters who try to learn how to hit from stationary or conventional batting tees, either knowingly or unknowingly change their balance and sometimes their stance between swings when the stationary tee is moved to a new location, they do this in order to make it easier to hit balls of different locations to opposite fields but doing it this way is detrimental to proper mechanics.
