Movement of a user may be tracked as the user crosses a boundary between two tracking areas in the network. The method may enable a balance to be achieved between use of uplink overhead and the level or granularity of tracking desired, so as to conserve radio resources.

This invention relates to a system and method for identifying target individuals who possess certain characteristics statistically indicative of their ability to influence others in their decision making regarding consumer goods, consumer products, political issues or candidates, financial matters, investments, real estate, insurance, travel and leisure, by non-limiting example. The subject invention encompasses not only the identification of a key group of individuals in a population more likely to affect the decision making of others in the population (“Influentials” as discussed below), but also includes the identification of additional (“non-Influential”) informational data common to Influential individuals, as well as the application of this additional informational data to other populations. The advantage of employing this additional informational data to ascertain Influentials is that this data can be publicly available data (such as, for example, from the U. S. Census Bureau), thus facilitating the identification of Influentials without the necessity of undertaking any surveys to identify Influentials per se instead relying on pre-existing public demographic information.

Abstract:

A radially expanding bolt assembly has a hollow element insertable into a hole of an object and having an inner surface with at least one inner surface portion which is tapered, an expanding element insertable in the hollow element and having an outer surface with at least one outer surface portion which is tapered and cooperates with the inner tapered surface portion of the hollow element, additional elements for displacing the expanding element in opposite axial directions for tightening and loosening the bolt assembly, and a washer positionable between the object and one of the additional elements at one of the axial ends, so that the one additional element displaces the expanding element in one axial direction and due to cooperation of the tapered surface portions expands the hollow element to clamp it in the hole of the object, while the other additional element displaces the expanding element in an opposite axial direction and the tapered surface portions disengage from one another so that the hollow element contracts and the radially expanding bolt assembly can be removed from the hole of the object.

Abstract:

For handover between wireless telecommunications networks of different technology types, an air interface is set up between a first node included in a network of a first technology type and a second node included in a network of a second different technology type. Signaling messaging, in accordance with the second technology type, is related to handover of a mobile terminal from the network of the first technology type to the network of the second technology type. The signaling messaging is encapsulated in a container for transmission over the signaling interface. An identifier is associated with the container to indicate that it encapsulates the signaling messaging. When the identifier is detected at the first node, the container is sent over the interface to the second node. In one method in accordance with the invention, the first technology type is WiMAX and the identifier is a special service flow identifier. This may be detected at an Access Services Network Gateway (ASN GW), for example. A method in accordance with the invention thus permits the use of logical radio channels for encapsulating inter-technology signaling.

According to a first aspect of the invention we provide an apparatus () for use with a threaded fastener including: —an inner sleeve member () having an internal surface threadedly engagable with the fastener and a tapered external surface; and an outer sleeve member () having an inversely tapered internal surface rotatably engagable with the tapered external surface of the inner sleeve member. Abstract:

According to a first aspect of the invention we provide an apparatus for torsionally coupling a threaded fastener and a torque output device including:—a first coupling member: rotatably and threadedly engagable with the threaded fastener; rotatably and taperedly engagable with a second coupling member; non-rotatably engagable with an action portion of the torque output device; the second coupling member non-rotatably engagable with a reaction portion of the torque output device; and wherein the first coupling member, when rotated by the action portion of the torque output device, applies a load to the threaded fastener.
