In some embodiments, granules are removed from the ASW. In some embodiments, the method transforms ASW into ASW powder. In some embodiments, the ASW powder is formed into a plurality of briquettes. In some embodiments, at least one of: the ASW powder, the plurality of briquettes, or any combination thereof is fed into a mixing process that results in an ASW powder filled coating. In some embodiments, the ASW powder is formed into an adhesive composition.
Some embodiments of the present disclosure relate to roofing systems. In some embodiments, the roofing system includes a deck, a roofing material, and an underlayment configured to be positioned between the roofing material and the deck. In some embodiments, the underlayment comprises a foil layer and an adhesive layer that is attached to the foil layer and configured to be attached to the deck. Methods of manufacturing roofing systems are also disclosed.

The roofing material includes a substrate having a first side and a second side, and a film layer attached to at least one of the first side or the second side of the substrate, the film layer comprising a polymer and having a thickness of 0.5 mils to 100 mils. A single layer of the roofing material achieves a Class A rating for steep slope roofing systems when tested according to UL 790 and/or ASTM E-108 Standard Test Methods for Fire Tests of Roof Coverings. This invention, in embodiments, further relates to a roofing material and a steep slope roofing system.

The system can further comprises a medium collection chamber fluidly connected to the sample well by a second filter material.
