Abstract:

A computer network or Internet based system that enables users to scan documents and store those documents in a secure, remote location for later retrieval and use. The system includes software which allows users to store a document from within a web browser without the use of plug-in software, scan paper documents and store the scanned files for later access and retrieval. The system also includes software which enables the user to create and control security and access to the documents, thereby enabling groups of users to share access to the stored documents yet still control the removal, editing and access abilities of the group members. Abstract:

The disclosure describes a template and method for using it to properly position and align a cartridge on a tone arm. The template has a hole that fits over a spindle and allows the template to be placed on a turntable. An index line is then aligned between the spindle and the pivotal axis of the tone arm. A point marked on the template is then properly positioned to set the proper tone arm overhang, and a mirror surface helps to properly align the cartridge.

Abstract:

A needle instrument for performing peripheral iridectomy for narrow angle glaucoma includes a hollow needle having a first right angle bend and a second U-shaped bend. An adaptor and conduit are provided for connecting the needle to a source of suction such that suction may be drawn through the open end of the needle. The needle is adapted to be grasped by a hemostat or the like along the U-shaped bend to facilitate manual manipulation during performance of a peripheral iridectomy.
