Abstract:

A method of providing a colonic lavage includes the steps of delivering a predetermined volume of lavage liquid to the colon to fill the colon with lavage liquid to a predetermined level, substantially maintaining the predetermined level of lavage liquid within the colon for a predetermined time in a hold cycle to hydrate impacted material within the colon, inducing a pulsed motion of the lavage liquid within the colon during the hold cycle to enhance hydration and break up of impacted material within the colon and to induce peristaltic activity of the colon, and draining lavage liquid from the colon. The step of inducing pulsed motion of the lavage liquid within the colon may be accomplished through an inverse pulsed technique or a pulsed hold technique.

Methods, devices, and computer program products for controlling wireless network connection access are described. The device includes a processor for executing instructions, and multiple network adapters for operatively connecting to multiple networks. The device includes a wireless network connection monitoring application for controlling access to the multiple networks via the processor, and the monitoring application is configured to monitor the multiple network adapters. Methods of determining status of advertised system management server (SMS) packages at a client device include receiving a request for a determination of the status from a user at the client device. Responsive to the received request and without further input from the user a plurality of SMS packages that have been advertised to the client device may be identified, an installation status of the identified plurality of SMS packages may be determined and a graphical user interface (GUI) may be generated. The GUI lists the identified plurality of SMS packages and provides a visual indication of the determined installation status of the listed plurality of SMS packages. The generated GUI may be displayed to the user on a display of the client device.

Abstract:

A new use for a circular, solids retention screen for removable use with a variety of sizes of circular drinking vessels to allow for the separation of liquid from solids contained within the vessel. Typical embodiments for the vessel size can be a drinking glass to allow the user to drink without disruption from the contained ice, whether crushed or cubes. For this embodiment, the invention relies upon a retention screen comprising a continuous, circular, flexible, elastomeric ring. The ring is constructed of an annular base portion with a continuous tapered portion extending radially outwardly from the base portion. Finally, a central, generally flat, liquid passing screen portion is secured from the base portion.
