Abstract:

An up-stop mechanism for a vehicular window provides, in some embodiments of the present invention, a means of adjustment of a window position from inside the vehicle, rather than, for example, through its beltline. Embodiments of the present invention may also permit adjustment of the window without loss of the position of the up stop and, with it, the vertical limit of the controlled window pane. Fine adjustment of the window position is also enabled through the use of indirect control of the position of the up stop and gradations on an adjacent base plate, on which the up stop is adjustably mounted. Embodiments of the present invention may provide an adjustment interface on a portion of an up stop, while a complementary interface, designed to engage the adjustment interface of the up stop, may be provided on an adjusting component, most preferably one that is borne or mounted separately from the up stop. Actuation of the adjusting component displaces its engaging interface and, by doing so, indirectly displaces the engaging interface of the up stop and, thus, the up stop itself. The adjusting component may be acted upon by a preselected tool, such as a wrench, and may be mounted in order to be accessed from inside the vehicle.

Abstract:

A computer program product, method and a system for a profanity filter includes a discrete device engineered with a communications port and a plurality of intraconnected digital signal processing modules. A language of origin text generation (TG) module configured to generate text from an audio language of origin is included. Also a profanity match (PM) module is configured to match a text list of defined profanity with profanity in the generated text. Furthermore, a profanity replacement (PR) module is configured to replace the matching profanity with an antiprofanity equivalent. The profanity filter device comprises an emoji face design, a clam shell and a box design with HDMI and USB ports. The disclosure filters profanity from TV shows, movies and any audio feed. The device also connects to the TV screen, computer monitor, or other video entertainment device for the purpose of instantly and automatically filtering profanity while the user listens.

A sliding vehicle center console is provided. The center console may include an elongated rack, including an elongated rack, defining a plurality of teeth, a carrier member coupled to the rack, and a gearbox assembly including a pinion configured to rotate in a first or a second direction to translate the carrier member and the elongated rack from a first position to a second position. The sliding vehicle center console may also include a controller configured to change the rotation of the pinion from one of the first or second directions to the other directions, responsive to a comparison of a sensor value to a threshold condition.

Abstract:

A window regulator may include a first guide rail assembly, that may be coupled to the door panel and including a first guide rail, a first pulley and a second pulley. The first slider may be configured to receive the window pane and translate along the first guide rail to move the window pane between an open position and a closed position. The first cable may be coupled to a drive and engaged with the first pulley and may be fixed to the first slider such that actuation of the drive moves the first slider and the window pane into the opening. The spring may be disposed between an end of the first cable and a portion of the first slider. The spring may be configured to bias the slider and an edge of the window pane towards the A-side beam or the B-side beam.
