Professional Summary I have worked in the automotive industry for 30 years. During that time, I have been in the Quality and Plant management fields in Plastic Injection Molding and Metal Stamping. I have been a Tier one and Tier two supplier to all major automotive manufacturers including BMW, Mercedes, General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, and Mazda. The areas of supply have ranged from interior trim, exterior trim support, exterior trim painted, exterior mirror, engine components, seating frame, and brake light and side markers in both production and photometrics. I have been trained in Taguchi Methods and have been involved on 12 DOEs resulting in increased customer satisfaction and reduced defects. I have been trained and performed CMM dimensional layouts using Mitutoyo, Brown and Sharp, Ziess, and Romer CMMs. I have formal and functional knowledge of [] ISO9001, QS9000, and ISO 14001 and was Plant Manager for the 2nd injection molding facility certified in the United States. I have achieved or maintained certification in TS and QS quality systems. I have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of APQP including FMEA, Flow Diagram, Control Plan, IMDS, AAR, PSW, laboratory testing and PPAP presentation. I am a journeyman Shainin in problem solving, have been trained and have trained teams in TOPS, SPC, Zengler Miller frontline leadership, I have initiated and maintained 5S programs in laboratory and plant environments. I co-authored the lean manufacturing initiatives for a 3 location corporation which included short term and strategic planning goals. The System was automated and allowed for publishing to floor personnel and presentation to customers and potential customers. I have a knowledge in P&L planning and maintenance.
