Abstract:

An electrical connector includes a dielectric housing having a front mating face and mounting a plurality of terminals. A latching cavity is formed in the front mating face for receiving a latch member from a complementary mating device. The cavity includes opposite side walls. A latch/solder member is mounted on the housing and includes a latch plate in the latching cavity for latching engagement by the latch member of the complementary connecting device, and a solder plate at the board-mounting face of the housing. A blocking rib spans the side walls of the latching cavity to strengthen the housing, and the locking rib prevents the latch member of the complementary connecting device from being inserted into the cavity on a wrong side of the latch plate.

Abstract:

A cable tie with a reduced band thread force is disclosed, comprising an elongate metallic strap, a metallic locking head and a metallic roller means. In one embodiment, the metallic locking head comprising a strap entry notch. In another embodiment, the metallic locking head comprises a strap entry notch and a strap exit notch. In operation, the configuration of the notches, singularly or in tandem, serve to reduce the band thread force in the elongate metallic strap when the elongate metallic strap is inserted into the metallic locking head a second (and subsequent) time.

Abstract:

An electrical connector is mateable with a complementary connecting device having a blade terminal. The connector includes a dielectric housing having a front mating face, an elongated terminal-receiving cavity with an open end through the mating face for insertion therethrough of the blade terminal, and a locking ledge on an end wall of the cavity. A conductive female terminal is received in the cavity and includes a pair of elongated side walls joined in spaced relation by at least one end wall. A plurality of flexible contact arms are folded back over each side wall from an upper edge thereof for engaging a respective side of the blade terminal. A locking finger projects from the end wall of the terminal and is engageable with the locking ledge on the end wall of the terminal-receiving cavity.

A cable tray and at least one side wall bracket secured to the cable tray is disclosed. The cable tray has a plurality of transverse and longitudinal wires. The side wall bracket has angled legs defined by a U-shaped inside leg portion and a hook that leads to an outside leg portion. The inside leg portion of each angled leg engages a first surface of side longitudinal wires and bottom longitudinal wires and the outside leg portion of each angled leg engages a second surface opposite the first surface of side longitudinal wires and bottom longitudinal wires to secure the side wall bracket to the cable tray.

Abstract:

A cable tray and at least one side wall bracket secured to the cable tray is disclosed. The cable tray has a plurality of transverse and longitudinal wires. The side wall bracket has an upper loop with a first end and a second end. Curved portions extend from the first end and the second end of the upper loop.
