Abstract:

A system for managing property inspections may include a base computer and a memory unit coupled to the base computer. The memory unit may have stored therein a plurality of property inspection requests and a number of property inspector records, with each of the plurality of property inspection requests including at least one attribute of a corresponding property to be inspected and with each of the number of property inspector records including data associated with a corresponding property inspector, and instructions that are executable by the base computer to assign the property inspection requests to the property inspectors based on matches between the at least one attribute of the plurality of property inspection requests and at least one of the data associated with the number of property inspection records. The property inspectors may access their assignments of property inspections through a web portal.

An electronic brake controller for actuating electric wheel brakes of a towed vehicle in response to actuation of the brakes of an associated towing vehicle. The brake controller includes a sensor for producing a brake control signal which is representative of the desired braking of the towed vehicle. The controller also includes a microprocessor for responsive to the brake control signal for generating an output signal for actuating the electric wheel brakes of the towed vehicle.

Abstract:

A method and system for generating a control program executable by an industrial controller, wherein a source program is displayed using a variable width ladder diagram. Instructions of a source program are received by a host computer, wherein the source program is compilable into the control program. A ladder diagram representative of at least one of the instructions of the source program is displayed on a display device. The ladder diagram comprises a graphical interconnection of schematic elements, at least one of which having a corresponding display width which is variable. The corresponding display width is varied in dependence upon the greater of a corresponding symbol display width and a corresponding label display width. A method and system for data communication with the industrial controller uses a hybrid error detection code. Each transmitted packet of data is augmented with either a Fletcher checksum code if the length of the packet is less than a predetermined packet length threshold, or a CCITT-16 cyclic redundancy check code if the length of the packet is greater than or equal to the predetermined packet length threshold.
