Abstract:

A method, system and apparatus for wrapping objects for liveness in a collaborative environment. In a preferred aspect of the present invention, a method for enabling liveness for a non-live object can include the step of wrapping the non-live object to emulate liveness in a collaborative environment. Preferably, the wrapping step can include selecting at least one attribute of the non-live object, repeatedly updating a status of the at least one attribute for the non-live object, and, providing the repeatedly updated status to the collaborative environment in order to emulate liveness for the non-live object.

Abstract:

Interface mechanism for quickly accessing recently used artifacts in a computer desktop environment. The interface mechanism integrates across a multitude of tools available in a computer desktop environment to present a list of recently used computer artifacts that can be automatically sorted or filtered in useful ways. Examples of computer-based artifacts that the interface can present include objects that relate to people, events, URLs, email messages, attachments, shared objects or shared activities. Filtering and sorting operations enable the interface mechanism to provide a list of the computer artifacts in a manner that is useful to the user. Also, the interface mechanism permits to perform frequently desired operations beyond opening a file or application such as dragging and dropping items for copying and pasting into the user's current context.

Abstract:

A method, system and apparatus for managing activity reuse in a collaborative environment. The method can include the step of creating a new activity instance based upon an existing activity instance. Specifically, the creating step can include the steps of selecting an activity template and creating the new activity instance based upon the selected activity template and/or selecting a portion of an existing activity instance and creating the new activity instance based upon the selected portion. In either case, the method further can include the step of applying changes to the selected portion of the existing activity instance to the new activity instance. Finally, the method can include the step of annotating the new activity instance to refine the new activity instance for reuse. For instance, the annotating step can include coordinating a collaborative annotation of the new activity instance as an activity-in-progress.

A material processor having an enclosure with an ingress to receive material into the enclosure, and a discharge to remove homogenous material from the enclosure. A spindle is located in the enclosure, has a longitudinal spindle axis, and is rotatable about the spindle axis. A drive is operatively connected with the spindle to rotate the spindle about the spindle axis. A centrifugal sieve is located in the enclosure and coupled with the spindle. The ingress feeds material into the sieve. A conveyor is connected with the discharge to transfer mixed material from the enclosure. The conveyor further has a generally cylindrical tube with a tube diameter, two opposing ends, and a tube axis extending through the ends. A helical blade extends along the tube axis between the two ends and is rotated about the tube axis. More particularly, the helical blade may have a series of blade tips that are spaced along the tube axis.
