Abstract:

A blade shank that can be used for cutting corrugated sheets incorporating improvements to blade design and cutting geometries for an improved cutting action on corrugated sheets; that may include a handle, but does include a blade shank or blade base, at least one cutting edge, at least one guide member attached to the blade base or blade shank; the blade shank can be attached to a handle with the cutting edge facing rearward while the guide member is directed rearward wile the guide member straddles the cutting edge or edges.

Abstract:

The invention provides a cart to carry large panels of sheet goods. It incorporates a panel bracing mechanism that automatically adjusts and locks in place different width panels. The cart consists of a wheeled frame, a handle attached to the frame, and a panel bracing mechanism. When a panel is placed in the panel bracing mechanism, the weight of the panel causes braces to shift and lock the panel in place. The cart is moved and steered by the user pushing on the back of the panel. When the panel is lifted from the cart, the weight of the panel is removed and the bracing mechanism releases the panel. Once empty, the pivoting handle is used to pull and direct the cart.

Abstract:

A squaring system for aligning structural elements. The system comprises a first alignment member, a second alignment member, and a plurality of alignment openings arranged in rows in each of the first and second alignment members, the openings of the first row being spaced from each other a predetermined distance X and the openings of the second row being spaced from each other a predetermined distance Y, with the distance X being different from distance Y. Arranged in this manner, a lock member that is sized and configured to extend into the alignment openings can be inserted into selected openings of each row to fix the relative positions of the first and second alignment members.
