Abstract:

A portable folding chair which is adaptable for use in an upright conventional sitting mode, in an inverted position as a back rest and in a collapsed position as a carrying device. The rear leg member and chair back are adjustable so that the rear leg member defines a comfortable headrest in the inverted backrest mode and a flap is provided which defines a lounging mat in the back rest mode which, in use, anchors the chair in place and in the collapsed carrying mode defines with the seat and back panels a covered carriage compartment.

Abstract:

An adjustable securing strap which is adapted to be secured to a snow ski for holding together a pair of snow skis. The strap is of integral construction and is comprised of an extended tongue portion, a tongue receiving portion which is to be secured to the upper surface of one of the skis and a flexible strap portion which extends between the tongue and receiving portions. The tongue receiving portion is provided with a pair of hingedly mounted lateral tongue retaining walls and a plurality of undercut teeth which extend between the hinged walls and are engagable with a plurality of oppositely cut teeth on the tongue portion of the strap. The engaged teeth and retaining walls hold the tongue portion firmly within the tongue receiving portion when the strap is disposed about a pair of skis or the like.

A ski pole having a basket and grip configuration for use in carrying a pair of skis. The basket defines a first gripping surface for securing the basket to a pair of skis and a second gripping surface for securing the basket to the grip end of a second pole. The grip of each pole is provided with an adjustable rotatably mounted strap for use in holding the basket in gripping contact with the skis. So secured, the skis and two poles are held together to facilitate carrying thereof.

Goggles having a wide lens mounted in a semi-rigid frame which positions the lens away from the face providing an enclosed air space, the frame having a number of apertures permitting an influx of air, and one or more outlet apertures to which are secured means for evacuating air from the inner space.
