A storage container includes a corner support extending across each corner and supported on an upper edge of each of the two adjacent walls in the corner. Each corner support is hingeably connected to one of the two adjacent walls. The corner support is supported on an upper surface of a column projecting inward from each adjacent wall. A ledge also protrudes inward from each column and supports a leg extending downward from the corner support. A third ledge is formed on an inner surface of the corner and supports a third leg extending downward from the corner support. Each corner support is pivotable about its hinge between a use position, generally parallel to the base, and an open position, generally adjacent one of the edge walls.
A bottle carrier includes a base and one or more arms extending downwardly from the base. The arms include an inwardly facing surface for contacting a neck of a bottle, and also include an inwardly extending tab having an upper surface for supporting a lip on the neck of the bottle. The tabs further include a lower surface angled away from the base as it extends away from the bottle. Upon insertion of a bottle into a bottle receiving area defined by the arms, the upper surface of the bottle contacts the lower surfaces of the tabs, thereby causing at least one of the arms to deflect outward, permitting insertion of the bottle cap and lip on the neck of the bottle into the bottle receiving area. Once the lip of the bottle is inserted past the tabs, the arms return toward their undeflected position, with the tabs positioned below the lip, retaining the bottle in the bottle neck receiving area.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel BAIT protein which is a member of serpin superfamily which is expressed primarily in brain tissue. In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding the human and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of BAIT activity. Also provided are diagnostic methods for detecting nervous system-related disorders and therapeutic methods for treating nervous system-related disorders. Additionally, the present invention is related to methods of treating patients with BAIT polynucleotides or polypeptides, wherein said patients have had a stroke.

Stylet For Use With Endotracheal Tubes Having An Articulable Tip
Michael Wong - Irvine CA, US Jay Kotin - Irvine CA, US
International Classification:
A61M016/00
US Classification:
128/207140
Abstract:
A fixed length, immalleable stylet for insertion into an endotracheal tube with an articulating tip. The stylet is preferably curved, semi-rigid and shape-retaining. This stylet is of fixed length and when inserted into an endotracheal tube with an articulating tip, promotes rigidity of the main body of the endotracheal tube, while allowing full function of the articulating tip mechanism. The stylet cannot protrude beyond the flexion point of an articulating tip endotracheal tube. This combination allows the tube to be passed in even very difficult airways while preserving the articulation capability afforded by the endotracheal tube.

Abstract:
In accordance with the present invention, there are provided compositions useful for the in vivo delivery of a biologic, wherein the biologic is associated with a polymeric shell formulated from a biocompatible material. The biologic can be associated with the polymeric shell itself, and/or the biologic, optionally suspended/dispersed in a biocompatible dispersing agent, can be encased by the polymeric shell. In another aspect, the biologic associated with polymeric shell is administered to a subject, optionally dispersed in a suitable biocompatible liquid.
