I made it thru high school and got married my senior year. It only lasted 22 months. I had a daughter and it was just me and her for awhile until I remarried. I had a son and at the age of 28, I went to college. I graduated with honors and was awarded the Office Administrative Student of the Year. I got a job, 2 wks. before I finished college, at Ashland State Vocational Technical School. I worked there, thru 2 back surgery's, for 11 yrs. I had to leave due to medical problems. My marriage continued to get worse so I left after 25yrs. I applied for disability and I have lived on my own for over 2 yrs. Now I look forward to each day and what it has to offer. I know that's what my daughter would have wanted. She once told me, "Mom, woman up". She was my cheerleader. Sarah Jo Hall Stephens was an amazing, loving, friend, daughter, sister, wife, and mother. I am so proud to be her mom!
