About:
BIO I was born on Staten Island, New York City. I am the only member of my family to be born in the United States. My mother and my sister were born in England. My father and my brother were born in Norway. Being in the shipping industry, my father managed to book passage for my mother, brother and sister on an oil tanker. My mom was seven months pregnant with me during the month long voyage and often would remind me that she did not take any seasickness medicine. (The sacrifices mothers make.) I went to college at George Washington University in Washington, DC where I majored in Philosophy and minored in English Literature. There being a dirth of philosopher jobs, I went on to law school at the University of Connecticut School of Law. I practiced law as a civil litigator for 7 years prior to becoming a Realtor. I am now a licensed Realtor and Attorney in Oregon. I have worked as a Realtor for the past 6 years and continue to provide Pro Bono legal work through the Legal Aid Society of Oregon. I live in the Hillsdale neighborhood of Portland with my phenomenal wife, Kathy, our extraordinary twin sons, Jacob and Nicolai, our red head dog, Lucy, Lucy's interspecies boyfriend, Tigger the Cat, and Simone, the 100 year old cat. When not helping my clients or doing volunteer work, I spend my spare time with my family, baking and finishing do-it-yourself projects. MISSION STATEMENT To provide the best service possible to all my clients. To help my clients achieve their real estate goals. To only enter intor agreements with buyers and sellers who are realistic in regards to pricing and expectations. To keep my clients informed, ask questions and listen. I always maintain the highest ethical standards and values, and have unwavering commitment to client care. I continue to invest in education and technology so that I may better serve my clients. I ALWAYS place the interests of my clients before those of my own, and I NEVER lose sight of the trust and responsibility bestowed on me by each and every client.
