Abstract:
A method of preventing feet from becoming hot and muggy by a process which is practical, comfortable, and beneficial. The method permits the subject to move about outdoors in the hot sun and/or indoors in a non-airconditioned building, during the summer months without the feet becoming hot or muggy. The method cools the subject's feet while he is running, climbing, jumping, standing, or sitting still. The method does not limit the subject's ambulation, neither does it restrain his body movements, nor does it restrict his mobility to a specific geographical area. The method contemplates and includes within its scope a pair of `foot coolers` which consist of a pair of `cool shoes` specially constructed with high outer platform soles that contain sufficient insulation and adequate vacant spaced (chamber) to house a durable, removable, light-weight, `cool container` filled with a suitable, inexpensive refrigerant. The heat transfer from the feet above the separation of the inner sole passes through and on down to the `cool container` where it is absorbed by the chilly refrigerant thereby cooling the feet above the inner sole of the `cool shoe`. The method also increases the feet comfort of the subject by preventing the feet from expanding and by neutralizing the factors that cause feet perspiration and concomitant unpleasant feet odor.

This invention relates to remote television channel selection and plural function apparatus comprising: A tuner for receiving a composite television signal including luminance, chrominance and audio information modulated on a carrier on any one of a plurality of channels; a demodulator connected to said tuner for providing said luminance, chrominance and audio information in a baseband format; means located at said control apparatus for manually varying the channel selection of the tuner; means located at said control apparatus for manually varying the characteristics of the baseband luminance, chrominance, and audio information as a function of viewer preference; means for remodulating and transmitting electromagnetically the composite television signal to a remotely located television receiver on an unused channel via wireless transmission; the remote control of both tuning and other receiver functions being effected without direct connection or modification to the receiver. A similar apparatus provides for remote radio channel selection for receiving radio signals. Abstract:
This invention relates to a system providing for the remote control of video signals controlling remotely television channel selection and plural functions including tuning the composite television signal, manually varying the channel selection of the tuner, mixing of an auxiliary intelligence signal into the incoming signal when it is in the baseband format, simulation of depth picture on the television screen giving a three dimensional affect, manually varying the characteristics of the baseband luminance, chrominance and audio information as a function of viewer preference.
