Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems and methods for removably coupling an electronic device to eyewear. In one aspect, an eyeglass is provided. The eyeglass includes an eyeglass frame adapted to be carried by a head of a wearer, at least a first lens, and at least a first lens support portion of the eyeglass frame configured to position the at least first lens in a path of a field of view of a wearer. The eyeglass further includes an attachment device that comprises a first connector and a second connector, where the first connector removably couples the attachment device to the eyeglass frame, and an electronic device, where the second connector removably couples the electronic device to the attachment device.
Eyewear is disclosed that can have multiple ventilation states providing different amounts of ventilation through the eyewear. The eyewear can include a lens and a frame. In some embodiments, the lens can be movable with respect to the frame to provide the multiple ventilation states. In some embodiments, the eyewear can include a gasket that removably attaches to the frame. In some embodiments, the gasket can be movable with respect to the frame to provide the multiple ventilation states.
Housing for vehicle sensors (e.g., Lidar sensors) can include an adapter bracket configured to route a cable either out of the side of the sensor housing or out of the bottom of the sensor housing. In some examples, different adapter brackets can be used to run the cable in different configurations, while in other examples, a single adapter bracket can run a cable in both side-exit and bottom-exit configurations. An adapter bracket can include a breathable mesh portion configured to allow air to pass through the mesh, while blocking moisture.

Abstract:
A seating structure employing a thermoplastic flexor defining the flexibility and stiffness of a seatback is provided. The seating structure may comprise a seat portion for supporting a user, a seatback portion for supporting a user, a frame for supporting the seat portion and the seatback portion, one or more base portions extending at an angle from the seatback portion, and one or more thermoplastic flexors affixed to or within the seatback and base portions of the seating structure. The thermoplastic flexor has certain material characteristics which define and limit the deflection and a rebound of the seatback portion relative to the base portion when under load. The seating structure may further comprise one or more anchors securing the seatback portion, base portion, and thermoplastic flexor to the frame. The seat portion, seatback portion, and base portion may comprise a unibody or multipiece chair shell, and the thermoplastic flexor may be completely enveloped within the shell, or partially disposed behind the shell in a nested mechanical relationship.
