I’ve been selling real estate in Essex and Union counties since 2001, and for many of those years I was a NCJAR Circle of Excellence (Million Dollar Sales Club) winner for outstanding sales achievement, making me one of the top agents in the area. I have been the winner of the Five Star Professional Award for the past three years as well. I love selling real estate and I am quite good at it, if I may say so myself. For seller’s I am delighted when I can get you a great price for your home and help you to sell it stress free. Prior to real estate sales I was a Partner in a large Architectural/Engineering firm in New York, where I managed multi-million dollar large-scale development projects and was in charge of the Planning and Urban design departments for the firm. ( I was there for 13 years, but left soon after my then eight year old started to fax me his homework.) I do bring that business background to my real estate business, I previously negotiated multimillion dollar contracts with high level businessmen and women, and I bring that expertise to any transaction I have. I also did marketing for my firm and bring that knowledge to my real estate marketing. I bring a high level of professionalism and business know-how to everything I do and I believe my clients benefit from this added level of sophistication. I attended Grinnell College in Iowa and have a master’s degree from Columbia University in NYC. Now I attend continuing education classes in real estate sales to keep on top of the latest issues and technology. I also have completed an Ecobroker course so that I understand the latest in green technology as it relates to real estate sales. On a personal note I grew up in Honolulu (down the street from Steve Case who founded AOL, please don’t ask), volunteer in the community, I’m a movie fanatic and do a lot of Zumba dance. And I'm proud mom to the son who faxed me his homework at age eight --he is now a NYU undergrad. Now that he is away at school my silly Miniature Schnauzer Jack rules the house.
