Interests:
My interest in business is to earn the trust of my clients through hard work.
About:
As my experience shows I have always worked with people, first as a teacher and counselor, then in retail sales and in homebuilding. I left the education business to care for my first granddaughter when she was born five years ago so that my daughter could work. While at home with a baby, I took the remaining classes I needed to become a Texas licensed real estate agent.
My passions have always included homes, whether through designing floor plans and decorating new homes built by my husband, or furnishing people's homes from our family furniture store. I even grew up loving the business as my father built homes and my mother loved decorating! Selling real estate is another way that I can be involved with people searching for "home."
Outside of work, I love being with my family, whether it is playing golf or gardening with my husband or seeing one of my six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.I volunteer at Colonial Hills Baptist CHurch with the Mothers of Preschoolers program and a teacher appreciation program. I teach a women's Bible study as well.
I love shopping for "antiques" and keep a booth in Ye Olde City Antique Mall in downtown Tyler. I love to sew, read, talk politics, swim, play golf, watch Grace Cougars football and Mavericks basketball.
I chose Omni Real Estate because it is a small company with great sales people who had years of experience to share with a "newby." One of my fellow realtors took me under her wing and was so kind to teach me a great deal.
