Abstract:Floor polish compositions having good resistance to germicide solutions are described. They comprise styrenated acrylic resins in combination with a rosin ester resin, a wax and other floor finish functional ingredients. Optimum floor polish performance characteristics are obtained when the weight ratio of the rosin ester and wax is greater than one and when the weight ratio of the styrenated acrylic resin to the total weight of the rosin ester resin and wax components is between about 3:1 and about 7:1.
