Power System Computation, Simulation, Control, Protection, and Design: - Advanced skills in Power System Modeling and simulation using PSS/E, GE PSLF, PSCAD/EMTDC, and MATLAB/Simulink. - Capable for performing load flow study, steady state analysis, dynamic simulations, contingency analysis, short-circuit study, and arc-flash analysis in power system. - Ability to perform system planning and operation, cost estimation and project budgeting, circuit analysis, and relay setting for the transmission, sub transmission and distribution systems. - Design skill for sizing of circuit breakers, fuses, transformer, generator, cables and overall sub-station protection system - Efficient design knowledge for overhead line, underground cable, metering system, building electrification, and industrial electrification. - Experienced with protective relays and Synchrophasors system. - Broad knowledge on Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) system. - Basic knowledge of IEC, ANSI, IEEE and NERC standards. Data mining work (Clustering and Classification): - Efficient knowledge in WEKA, R, Salford Systems, and SAS the popular tools for statistical analysis. Other Software and Tools: - Advanced skill on Power World, Milsoft, MathCad, FORTRAN, C/C++, VB, LaTeX and MS office tools. - Working knowledge of ETAP, SKM power tools, ASPEN, SCADA systems, LabVIEW, EMS, and AutoCAD.
